I had to talk about my experince but literally a week before the elections ive had certain gods just comin out of the wood works. Fuckin ...aphrodite, apollo, dionysus, athena EVEN FUCKIN ARES! All this in conjunction with the god i already work with! And ill tell you something. Theyre WERE NOT happy at all!
Not the hottest take....really just me rambling my thoughts...
I wish there were more witch spaces that are UPG friendly? Obviously i know my experiences will not be universal with everyone else? And my relationship with deities and spirits will be vastly different than others and not always textbook. Honestly i just wanna share my silly little fun stories without the fear of being excessively ridiculed.
But while ill always refer back to the textbook for research because it's important, it just comes to a point where if you only equate all of spritiual and divine to just textbooks and only textbooks? It takes away the ability for said spirits and divinity to have individual personality. Or atleast become void of it. Meeting spirits to me is like meeting people. Youll never really know anything about them unless you take the time to get to know them. But this is just my own perspective. I dont expect anyone to agree with this.

I wanna see more people telling us about their tarot readings, their one-off spell that maybe didn't work, the thing they picked up from the thrift store that they plan on using as a spirit vessel, how energy flows for them, how they view magic, and so much more.
And don't think that you can't or shouldn't post because you're new or because you're inexperienced.

I think a lot of people have a similar concern, you’re not alone!!
But keep in mind the only stupid people are those who refuse or take no interest in learning.
Sharing your practice, thoughts, and opinions opens the door to learn more about yourself and others! We can learn from each other’s practices.
Even if mistakes are made, that’s when the most learning happens!!
I decided I was going to start working with Freyja, so I made an interactive altar!
They say she may have been the physical embodiment of the earth, so I included a plant. I put my jewelry cleansing bowl there. Some gold glitter to symbolize an offering of gold. Crystals including onyx (the crystal for the dead), citrine, selenite, rose quartz, tigers eye and carnelian. I put this beautiful floral bath oil bottle there, and my perfume.
This is my first attempt at deity work, and I hope she likes it!

I recently made a love/self love alter recently and today i decided to reach out to Hermaphroditus to see if they would be interested in working together. Needless to say i think i got their attention because i am immediately filled with calm sensation and the song "Who Says" by Selena Gomez and tbh i think that songs matches them perfectly!

You don’t have to believe them but these are just my experiences. If you don’t like you don’t have to comment. ( My fav is working with oracles and macabre magic) I also make physical items such as necklaces,charms candles, poppet dolls, etc.

1. Yes. I am open to questions. As long as they’re appropriate cause i can and will call you out/block/report you.
2.I don’t do free readings. If you ask i will charge accordingly. I do have a discord shop linked on my page.
3.I am not in a coven, they make me uncomfortable.If you ask i will not join.
4. I occasionally teach witchcraft, but not a 1 on 1 session. And what i teach is usually small tips and tricks. The extent of my knowledge would be to much to cover in one or even multiple settings. In my saying “ There is nothing i could teach that one cannot learn for themselves.” Because my magic is not YOUR magic therefore it will not work very well. Only you know what kind of magic skill you posses. Trying to learn my magic wouldn’t bring you much benefit now would it?
So sometimes i see new witches get hung up over what they should offer to deities when they first start working with them. That they have to offer them like incredibly specific offerings and such. And yes some do like specific offerings....but let me tell you its not the end of the world if you cant afford it. More often then not theyre understanding, especially if your not a financially stable practioner.
More often then not they greatly appreciate things made from the heart. Especially if its sculpted, crafted, collected really anything handmade they will love it. In my own experience ive collected things for alters i think they might like but are also quirky because thats how i am and express myself to them and they appreciate me being me. I know many gods appreciate when i make them art. Whether its a devotional jewerly to a portrait. Sometimes i make art thats not even related to them and they ask if they can have it and i just go "sure why not?" because it makes them happy.
Another offering is simply just spending time with them. Small acts go along way. Such as asking about their day or theyre interests. Like us it makes them feel appreciated and seen as i think many forget that we are a reflection of them and like us they have human like qualities too. And when in doubt just ask! I promise they wont get offended. A good example earlier this week is when i was pouring wine for Hades and i also asked Persehpone if she would like some. She prefers lighter blends but understood i didnt have any . So i asked if there was anything else i could offer and she opted for my dried rose petals and buds. She expressed that if i could make a little garden for her she would love it. Now mind you i dont always have the greatest green thumb (but ive always wanted one), but she knows that. And she expressed that as long as im trying cause gardens take some time and practice that she would still like it. So even if the gifts/offerings take a while to out together its still okay. Because its the time and effort they appreciate the most.
