Okay this one is for all my neurodivergent homies out there, The first step of solving a problem is recognizing their is one.
Your brain is genetically, physically different then a normal brain. Same way a near sighted person needs glasses, you need your routines, methods, and depending on your condition medication to get you though your day. Much like glasses you could go without them for a while. However, You won't be able to see properly, you'll barely be able to read what people are holding in front of you, and people will be upset at you for not realizing what is so clear to them but is so blurry to you. Neurodivergence is the same way mate. It won't appear obvious and you could possibly function for a bit without your methods, but you'll be floundering, and both you and people around you are going to be wondering why you can't just do things, not realizing you don't have an important piece of what you need to function..
Trust me, as an autistic ADHD person who learned how those affected me a bit late in life i had to learn all this the hard way. Your brain is diffrent, stop trying to force yourself through the incorrect hole and discover what kind of shape you really are.
