Things I took from the FNAF movie that are probably relevant to the game lore (might add to later)
- Vanessa is more than likely a stand-in for Elizabeth. Given she is the daughter of William Afton in the movie. MatPat was probably right in that one game theory video. Why am I not surprised?!?
- Piggy backing off that last one I can only assume that this means Gregory is indeed the rebuilt version of the crying child but honestly that one's a bit more of a stretch
- Mike Afton= Mike Schmidt
- Crying child more than likely died first. Given Garret gets taken before Abby is even born.
Please be aware these are just my interpretations of what I saw and I could be dead wrong but this is what I got from my first watch through of the movie. Please feel free to add your own to the list and I'm always down to talk FNAF lol
Now that I have rewatched the movie I would like to add a couple of things
- One when I say Vanessa is a stand-in for Elizabeth I mean within the game lore. She literally tells us she's the daughter of William Afton in the movie. I think this could give some credence MatPats theory of her being the brainwashed version of Elizabeth.
- Golden Freddy was not around to springlock William Afton. I know recently there has been a lot of confusion on who the 5 children who watch Will get spring trapped are. Obviously when the game came out it was supposed to be Cassidy but now that things have changed people have shifted to thinking it's either crying child or even possibly Charlie. I feel like they could have easily included Golden Freddy (GF) in that scene and the fact that they didn't is a little weird to me. GF is the only one of the kids that doesn't seem to have lost bits of themself in the animatronic like the other kids (this is symbolized through the blurred faces they have) so you would think that they of all people would want to have front row seats to attacking and getting revenge on William but they don't. We only see them afterwards acting like Cassidy in UCN, torturing William.
- Golden Freddy also only has one eye lit up and (currently) one child possessing it which I'm pretty sure confirms the idea that there are multiple spirits in GF.
