On December 5, 1991, the cast of Star Trek put their handprints and signatures in the cement outside Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA. DeForest was so flustered by the photographers calling out their names and the rush of it all, that he misspelled his name (he left out the “s”). He added it shortly thereafter.
William Shatner joked (probably not really joking) about De getting a section all to himself (thus having his name bigger than the rest), while everyone else shared a row. Check it out! Go De!!
How much did James Doohan pay to whoever captioned that to say he was only 59? /jk But he was the same age as De. I think George is out by a year or so as well. #nerdsknowthesethings
