What up, I’m Korriban, your local Star Wars-obsessed transmasc. This is a pro-Jedi, anti-Dave Filoni, anti-The Bad Batch blog. Don’t come here to start shit or whatever, if you disagree with me and you want to have a cool, respectful conversation about Star Wars on my posts, I’m down, but any trolling or whatever and you’re blocked. Hobbies include: sobbing over Order 66, campaigning for clone rights, and defending the Jedi until my dying breath.

Big fan of Rebels, the Jedi Order, the Inquisitorius, and the better version of the sequel trilogy that lives in my head. Sabine Wren should’ve been Mand’alor. World’s #1 (and only) Zarezra truther

Sometimes I get emotional about the fact that it was Kanan who recruited the other spectres.

Ezra was more of a joint decision between Hera and Kanan but it's explicitly stated that Kanan was the one to recruit Zeb and Sabine (legends of the lasat, sabine's sketchbook et al).

Like. He started out just wanting to follow Hera for the sake of the ride and her beautiful voice while she was the one with a mission and wanting to recruit. But then he finds Zeb and later Sabine and probably sees so much of himself in them and he's the one to bring them together.

Like I bet he wasn't that enthusiastic about the idea of recruiting others onto the Ghost. A New Dawn Kanan is still a loner, still hiding. He really likes Hera and feels a connection with her and she already knows he's a Jedi so there's nothing left to risk with her. But putting together a crew would be a Bit Much for him I think. Solid chance he was planning on leaving as soon as that idea ever came to fruition, as he still doesn't want to get too close to anyone and doesn't want to risk Hera's life if he were outed as a Jedi while living in tight quarters with strangers.

That is until he meets Zeb and Sabine and is instantly determined to keep them. Just knows that they are the right people and that he is the right person to help them. And it's after that that he knows he's found where's he's supposed to be and is never leaving the Ghost.

To make it funnier its also like he starts bringing new crew members back to Hera like a cat bringing in dead animals lolol

It just goes to show how much growth he went through between A New Dawn and Rebels that we never even witness bc there is zero material on it disney are you listening to me I want a media about this 5 years ago 👁👁

"the corries are actually the victims" hi yeah they're actually cops that set hounds on people. we have a big event in american history where cops did that. it was BAD.

also commander fox literally claimed he would have liked to murder someone in their cell. tell me how that is victim behaviour.

forever obsessed with the animation choice to make the “ceiling” of malachor to be pockmarked with cracks that make it look like a starry night sky even though they’re underground

while i have an unmatched level of faith in the andor team and trust them with any plot development no matter how "out there", i really do hope s2 doesn't have any sort of defect/rebel/“redemption” turn for syril. one of the great joys watching andor live was seeing ppl empathize with and babygirlify this guy instantly, then get hit with week after week of "He Is The Biggest Loser Fascist You'll Ever Meet" . am still riding that high . like they were editing him to folklore taylor swift . just bc he was somewhat meek and had blue eyes . i need him to become a bigger fascist in s2 if anything

The thing about both Mandalorians and Jedi is that they would both suck as soldiers.

Jedi are trained and used as lone fighters. They can work in pairs or trios but their main weapon requires a large amount of free space, so they can’t line up. Hell, even when they got drafted into the army as generals and commanders, 99% of their screentime is them charging ahead of the line to go one on one.

Mandalorians are a little better but not by much. They do know how to fight in groups, but only their groups. They’re bands, not armies. They’re too mobile to stay in formations, and too divided to get into a chunk large enough to be considered an army in the first place. It’s not surprising that Mandalorians kept getting conquered, they can’t hold together and that extends to their battle tactics.

Jedi can’t hold a formation and Mandalorians won’t. You want an army, get the clones. Or the Gungans, it was a loose shield wall but it was still a shield wall.
