I feel like you might've already done something similar, but- Tony's first time seeing Blaine sing with the Warblers, or basically any time that's the first time Tony sees Blaine in his element as a leading man.
Tony can’t help but be vaguely worried about the future of the company. He’s too busy with Iron Man stuff to do it, and Pepper doesn’t want to. Who he could ease into being the next CEO of Stark Industries seems to be up in the air. There’s Blaine, of course, but he’s just so young and doesn’t seem to really get engineering.
He settles into his private box seat at the theater hosting this year’s National Show Choir Competition. Before Blaine, Tony didn’t know these things even happened, but now he’s got the best seats in the house. Pepper sits next to him, turning off her black berry and tucking it into her purse.
The spotlight falls on the stage, illuminating the quiet figures. Two by two, they turn around to face the audience, letting out full, clear notes. The last person to turn around is Blaine, who steps forward as he begins to sing. Blaine ignites the audience, holding so much presence that Tony forgets that it’s son down there.
Smiling he leans in to whisper to Pepper. “That’s the face. Now we just gotta convince Hummel to be the brains.”
Aaaaand that’s all folks! Thank you all so much!
