This evening I caught up with a glee club friend from college at The Girl and the Fig. It was a great night all around, but it is particularly of tumblr note that it felt like a bit of a fannish pilgrimage, given the combo of glee club and the restaurant.
Which means I can read Sotto Voce soon! (I'd been holding off because I knew a wine country vacation was a serious possibility, and I wanted to save it until I knew whether or not I was reading thematically. Because reading thematically is serious business.) The fic made me want to hop a plane and pour a glass of special wine, so I'm super excited to read the novel, knowing that both are going to happen!

Oh yeah, everything but the tank is fairly typical for me, but the tank just screams hipster blog so loudly at me that the whole outfit plays along more than usual.

I’ve got two sets of headphones I use for travel. One is pricey - Bose noise-canceling headphones. Great for cross-country...

Noise canceling is so tempting. I dunno if I'm quite ready to jump to that price range, but oh it would be nice. I'm pretty sure i had that conversation with myself last time I bought headphones though, and I still find myself yearning. So. We'll see.

@GSJ excellent question. I'm not sure Lea's lived in a world where traditional age-related milestones are a factor for quite some time. So she may just not have the gut instinct that a 17 year old second semester freshman is a special circumstance we have no evidence to believe Rachel is in. And I don't think I can really blame anyone for not consciously doing math in a press situation like Paley. But still. No. She can't be 17. I can't understand that as a truth.
They can be pretty rad.

Yeah. I'm still at my parents' and they only get network channels. So. Livestream for me. There just isn't an option to adjust the size of the video on the screen. Oh well. Thanks though!

Fox was showing Michael. That particular declaration of love was in regards to Burt's speech about Kurt winning in that moment when he got his NYADA finalist letter.
Also wanting to tell Blaine in the same voice as when he told Blaine to pay up in the Christmas ep.
