ok but when blaine, sam, and jake talked about the artists they chose during guilty pleasures they were really talking about themselves y/y?

Sam is someone people don’t take seriously and who values love a whole lot (remember that he was originally supposed to sing Taylor Swift, which is PRETTY MUCH THE SAME IDEA)

Blaine is someone whose success has caused problems for him and who got teased as a result (I know he’s been made fun of for the way he dresses and he was shunned by the group. And even when he wasn’t, he didn’t feel like he was a part of them until dynamic duets)

Jake is a young black man who sings and dances really well and was raised by a single mom (BUTTTTT he never performs/isn’t actually Chris Brown and he also isn’t Bobby Brown bc that’s not who he wanted to originally sing)
