Best known as Kurt Hummel on Glee, Chris Colfer is a man of many trades. He’s currently on a book tour for the fifth installment of his wildly popular middle-grade fantasy series, the Land of Stories, with a sixth book on the way. My fabulous dates to the Chris Colfer signing in Brookline. :D  Nothing is better than seeing a kid who loves the books talk to him.

(I mean, I had a nice little chat with him, too, about his audio books, but come on.  This is the best.)

I've been thinking a lot about representation lately, and how great is it that kids get to see a grown up, but not an OLD(from their perspective) grown up, be a successful and accessible author? There's something about his youth that makes it more obvious that this is a real thing you can do. Dreams can come true SOON.
