This, I think, is an underrated Hunter moment, which I get, considering everything that happened with him in this episode. But this is huge.

It’s such a simple line, but it means so much for Luz to hear it, and it means so fucking much for Hunter to be saying it. Belos tricks people, so it’s not Luz’s fault. Belos tricks people, so it’s not his fault. There’ll be guilt, sure, but this line tells me that Hunter won’t blame himself wholly for Flapjack. Belos tricks people. It’s Belos’ fault that Flapjack is gone. 

Hunter’s going to avenge his friend. 

Every time I think of Shane Madej I have to laugh because I just have to think that if you asked this man a decade ago what he thought his life would be I can’t imagine even his millionth guess being “I cohost a ghost hunting show wherein half the pull is that I’m a skeptic and I do it with a guy half a foot shorter than me who is a diehard believer (he’s also my best friend)” “oh also a not insubstantial portion of the internet thinks I’m a demon”
