Really sketchy drawing, but just needed to get the idea out before I go back to cramming for exams.
The calla lily is a symbol of resurrection and rebirth. I recently read that the artist who designed Loki’s costumes in Thor, Charlie Wen, designed the collar based on this flower as a “resurrection motif,” and that (along with the Endgame trailer) sparked some ideas for me.

THE most underrated scene in the entire movie. It was perfect. And do you know how often I see gif sets of it? This is the second one I’ve seen since the movie came out (It’s been over 5 months, now).
So let’s just pause for a moment from reblogging gifs of Tony’s sass, Loki’s sex appeal, or Bruce’s fluffiness and just appreciate this nameless, old, German guy and how, even though he knew he would probably die, he stood up to a tyrant to prove that the human race wouldn’t give up their freedom so easily.
Friendly reminder that it’s implied that he’s a Holocaust survivor.
This is the face of a truly dangerous man. A man who has zero fucks left to give. A man who will bide his time and when the time is right, he will feed you to the wolves and do so with a smile.
You see that smile, Jane? That is the smile of a man who is contemplating what your entrails will look like when he slices them out of your spunky little body.

This is -exactly- what I’ve been trying to explain to people. Loki isn’t some kind, gentle God. He owes allegiance to no one but himself. While I ship LoKane in fanfic, I can’t wait to see the dynamic between these two characters (and Thor), because Loki will take any opportunity given to play mental games. Besides, he -did- threaten to visit Jane on Midgard while fighting Thor at the end of the first movie, did he not? I love that she bitch-slapped him because she’s also upset that Loki brainwashed her mentor, Erik Selvig in AVENGERS. This is just another reason to see this epic movie.
