I know this isn't the point of your blog and event (and no expectation that you'll respond to this) but I'm allo and trying very hard to write a romance novel with an ace aro character as the love interest and I've been struggling with where the boundaries are for aro people and this event has helped me learn so much about what people like to read! I'm already comfortable writing someone as ace, but a romance novel with an aro character has been squiggling me a bit. But the amount of platonically romantic aro content being shared is really inspiring!! So thanks :)

It's totally on point! I chose to focus on Good Omens for aro week because it was theme I liked. But the goal of aro week is still to raise awarness and acceptance of aromantic spectrum identities.

I hope this doesn't come across as unsolicited advice but I thought other people might want to learn more about aromanticism too.
I really recommend:
- AUREA (Aromantic-spectrum Union for Recognition, Education, and Advocacy) who has a lot of ressources on many subjects regarding aromanticism.
- Such as amatonormativity, a very important concept coined by the philosopher Elizabeth Brake to describe "the widespread assumption that everyone is better off in an exclusive, romantic, long-term coupled relationship, and that everyone is seeking such a relationship.".
- There's also many labels existing to describe different relations to romance and romantic attraction for people on the aro spectrum, such as : oriented aroace, cupioromantic, demiromantic, loveless aro, ...
(I also can't recommend enough to watch Koisenu Futari, as this show has the most perfect aroace representation ever. I can help you find it with english and french subtitles if you want, just DM me)
