GO Team Love Project

I went ahead and started a project for the Good Omens team to send 'em a little love! I think it would be cute to compile a bunch of written Thank Yous, but them together in a gallery, and show them to the folks who've been working on getting a Good Omens finale going.

Most of the information is in this Google document. The TL;DR of it is that everyone writes a short personalized message and takes a photo or screenshot of it, then sends it to me through email so I can put everything together in a gallery. I'm collecting images from now until November 3.

Awesome idea! I'd love to say THANK YOU to those who fought so hard to save Good Omens 3. Taking part in some project spreading love and positivity? Hell, yes!

I get that people are in the thick of their emotions rn, but I hope they’ll chill and focus on the fact that the Rob, Rhianna, and others apparently pulled off a successful Orpheus-and-Eurydice caper. The show was cancelled. And now it isn’t. Instead of angrily tweeting at Amazon about the format change, or pushing petitions demanding a full season, it’s probably a way better idea to express our gratitude and support for this very unlikely compromise that all involved are putting their own names and money on the line in order to bring to us.

Absolutely with you. And the first reactions of the fandom speculating about the shortened plot keep me optimistic. We won't stay lost after the Final Fifteen, we'll get the end of their story and I am pretty sure, the room between all that, will be filled with beautiful ideas, speculating and whatever. It has been like this and it always will be.

I so completely understand why people are sad and upset and angry and grieving. I really do. People in the fandom feel like something singular and necessary has been taken away (the full season) and it hurts. It’s painful. But it really very much almost didn’t happen at all. I hope we can find peace with what we have lost, but also joy in what we have gained — an ending to the story, and one that will be given all the love in the world by those involved.
