Finished my Good Omens Halloween animation thingy! In time! I’ve never done anything as complex as this before and it probably has waaaayyy too many things going on in the background, but it was just so much fun to draw and animate all of this. Hope you like it. Happy spooky season, everyone!

Halloween Omens

Every year, my wife and I use skeletons for a spooky themed display in our tiny front yard. Past years have seen Game of Thrones, pirates, a wedding, Jurassic Park, and several more.

This year, my wife suggested leaning into my brainrot and doing Good Omens.

I’m fairly certain none of the neighbors will recognize it (thus the signs with QR codes to the S1 trailer and various clips), but I’m so happy with how it turned out.

I was today years old when I found out I can make custom covers for journals on RB.

I made the prettiest cover ever with Crowley and Aziraphale and now I want it myself 🥹

Also two new beautiful jigsaw puzzles, just look at them 😍

My contribution to week 9 of the Ineffable Prompt-A-Thon by @ineffablyruined is a Crowley ouroboros (a Crowloboros, if you will) surrounded by Celtic knots, both of which symbolize the cyclical nature of existence.

Me: lemme make some custom brushes so I don't have to painstakingly draw a million little scales...

Also me: *proceeds to use said brushes in a complex interlace pattern that requires painstaking masking/erasing in order to make the various sneks fit together the way they're suppose to*

The end result was so worth it tho...

Plus hey, I got to learn how to make brushes from scratch and now I can draw many more goofy sneks hehehehe

Holy shit! you make it look so easy, but I can only assume that a lot of hard work went into this! Gosh, if I had that available, I'd never stop playing around with snake Crowley (ahem, that sounded less dirty in my head)! Seriously, I love everything about this to pieces! Although the upside down head of the looping snake in the last animation makes me giggle. I can literally hear Crowley's voice saying "WTF are you doing with me here?" I'm in love with the little boop at the end, though. 😍😍😍

Spent a few happy hours on the Lego Whickber Street project today. The chinese restaurant is done. All the lights are working as well. I used diy-parts from Briksmax - not cheap and a bit fiddly, but it was worth putting them in. Also: Thank you to the person who made a map of the street (I can't remember where I saw it), I tried to figure out what the shop next to the bookshop was, but the sign was never in focus in the show (or my focus was off, that is also a possibility).

Oh, a fellow Good Omens LEGO fan! This looks absolutely stunning! @neversam23, I adore your tiny version of Whickber Street. The bookshop looks awesome, especially with the warm glow of the lighting! So many beautiful details! Also, your Aziraphale and Crowley minifigs look gorgeous! Just out of curiosity... did you have the parts custom printed or did you use decals? Either way, the design is really cute!
