hello fandom it’s Entrapdak day~

here is my offering to you all

The more I watch these scenes, the more convinced I am that Catra did actually die here. Or, at the very least, she stopped breathing and was very much on her way.

We see her take a breath when Adora transforms into She-Ra, and then we don’t really see another until She-Ra heals her.

And between Bow and Glimmer taking Catra to this moment here, they both start to cry. Potentially because she’s not breathing, and they’ve realized that she’s gone.

I interpreted as her being dead too. I mean heck, Prime did not survive that fall. Adora probably only made it because she jumped and therefore had a chance to land properly, and maybe also because she’s She-Ra.

Catra died and was only brought back by the power of She-Ra magic gay.

Oh.  My.  Freaking.  GOSH!

I had no idea you have a tumblr, @ararouge!  I’ve seen your artwork on Instagram before, and I always love how gentle and dreamlike you draw Entrapdak.  I am utterly floored to see a sketch of yours inspired by something I wrote!

Your style suits this scene so well.  I was honestly thrilled when my brain came up with a way for Hordak to hug Entrapta and she can hug him back in my universe before he gets his new “not pinchy!” armor while I was writing.  Seeing it come to life like this?  I’m stunned in the absolute best way!

Your lines are always graceful, but between Entrapta’s hair, her legs, and the way you make Hordak’s original armor look even better than in canon, at least in my opinion, it all just flows.  That exquisitely tender look on Entrapta’s face fills my heart, and the way you drew Hordak’s hair so perfectly disheveled reveals precisely how he’s feeling in that moment, coming apart yet being held together by being in Entrapta’s embrace.

Thank you so very much for such a wonderful gift!  May I pretty please share it by linking to it in my fic?  If not, that’s okay!  I am simply truly honored to receive such a wonderful yet completely unexpected gift!  Especially since my confidence was feeling a little wobbly today, so this has shored me right up.  :)
