Mr. Darcy: I don't do loose. I prefer tightly wound. Not shapeless with extra room for surprises.
I guess I kind of hate most things. But I never really seem to hate you.
Mr. Darcy to Elizabeth Bennet
I have no use for people. I find people weird and confusing.
Mr. Darcy
Elizabeth Bennet: Geez, lurk much?
Mr. Darcy: I wasn't lurking; I'm standing about. It's a whole different vibe.
Mr. Darcy: Yeah, I don't like people.
Mr. Bingley: Oh, well now, that's not fair, Darcy. Have you met all of them?
Mr. Darcy: I've met enough of them. People: What a bunch of bastards.
The music was too loud, the food was cold, the drinks were few, and the people were many. It was everything I expected, and less. I'm never going outside again unless I need someplace to throw up.

Elizabeth Bennet: Hey, Darcy. I'm sorry for making fun of you in front of everybody. And also for making fun of you behind your back.
Mr. Darcy: Didn't know you did that, but thank you for the apology.
Elizabeth Bennet: I'm not done. Also, I'm sorry for making fun of you during my book club. Those people don't even know you. That was uncool.
