AGREED. The beronica that runs the whole course of Riverdale has become weaker and weaker as it goes, culminating with them barely even interacting this season, but early season 1 and comics beronica is, as Kevin would say, ICONIC AND BEYOND REPROACH. I love choni with all my heart but they would need actual storylines and screentime before they could have some real chemistry. They’re never going to get it, though, because RAS and the other writers are cowards and know that if choni gets semi-good treatment we’ll become too powerful and usurp them.
