Have you ever noticed that all of the male characters have alliterative names? (eg. Jughead Jones, Archie Andrews, Kevin Keller, Waldo Weatherbee, etc.)
But all the female characters don’t? (eg. Betty AND Polly Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Cheryl Blossom, etc.)

oh shit yeah ur right! it says he was also known as “the freeway killer,” though, which reminds me of the two girls (the waitress and polly) who have gone missing after scenes of hailing down a truck/being chased by it, and now i’m thinking that maybe the trash bag killer is also the one trucker who’s killing all of those girls? i mean. it’s riverdale and it seems like the murders started when betty came to town too and seeing as she’s the sole survivor of tbk (or my own personal theory that she IS tbk but that’s. at least 70% crack) it makes sense that they’d follow her to try to tie up loose ends.
Hi I have a favour to ask, I saw a spoiler that Toni’s storyline involves pregnancy and it’s a huge squick for me. Can I just fast forward her scenes, or do I have to sit this season out? Sorry to bug you but there’s no doesthedogdie trigger warning category for this
ur valid!! it depends kinda on whether you’re bothered just by mentions of the actual pregnancy storyline or just seeing it at all. if it’s the former it hasn’t been a big part at all except for a few passing mentions, but if it’s the latter then yeah she features pretty heavily in at least the first ep post-time jump (5x04, which is also when the pregnancy is first brought up/visible) and you’d have to skip it. she had a fair amount of screentime this last ep (5x05) too and i can’t really vouch for how much screentime she’s gonna get later on in this season or how much they’re gonna mention her pregnancy so i think you’d have to sit it out for now :( i’m willing to come back in a couple more eps or so maybe to tell you how big of a part toni and her pregnancy play a little later on if you’d like though!

I mean I liked her at first when I thought she was either a) queer, or b) a v supportive ally, but then it turned out that she was actually 26, married to the guy she originally claimed was her father, and co-leading a cult that was stealing people’s organs, so... not a fan.

Lol I have no idea anymore, but the best way I know how to sum it up is: a disaster. They don’t care about characterization from the comics or accuracy in general, so the only way I can rationalize watching it to myself is to accept that it’s essentially a bad edgy fanfic of the original Archie Comics.
