Executive Producer and head of the special effects department on AMC’s The Walking Dead, Greg Nicotero has worked along side Tom Savini on Day of The Dead and with Sam Raimi on The Evil Dead films, has been paying homage to some horror classics with some Easter eggs throughout episodes of The Walking Dead. Some tributes to Day of The Dead, Dawn of The Dead, JAWS, ZOMBIE, An American Werewolf in London.

I’m not going to lie, I thought what was Oswald at first was a zombie! 😂 I was like, why does Gotham have zombies?! I’m so stupid 😂😂 And the previews for next week, did I see Oswald in a plaid suit?! How precious! ❤️😂

Oswald is a very talented Zombie impersonator ;) That scene in S1 with him walking alone on the side the road before the car stops for him .. out of context that´s was pretty Zombieesque too wasn´t it ^^

I would love to be a zombie on The Walking Dead. (Laughs) That would be a dream come true, just because I love those people so much and I think it would be such an iconic moment. Who doesn’t want to be one of the walkers, get stabbed in the head by Andrew Lincoln. That would be an amazing dream come true.
