I have just decided that, aside from going through multiple ordeals similar to Chupacabra throughout his life where he had to rip off his own sleeves to make bandages, the reason Daryl Dixon wears sleeveless shirts is because he could never be shirtless in front of people, be it in the showers at school or on a hot summer’s day by the lake or when going swimming, and going sleeveless was the closest he could get to shirtless.
Zsasz’s No Man’s Land Diary
Definitely includes:
Day 12: Secured area around favorite diner.
Day 26: Successfully installed disco ball and floor lighting.
Day 37: Set up barter with other Victor for continued ice cream supply.
where is the rest of that diary .. I demand more ;D
Slit and Zsasz are the exact same character and I want you guys to know I hate myself for this
I like this concept .. but it made me sit here and think about how I for some reason do think Slit is more like a tornado & Zsasz more like a tsunami ..
I always picture Zsasz as a dog person. Somewhere in East End there’s a stylishly refurbished warehouse with like 5 giant dobermans that Victor comes home to. New recruits get a puppy upon completing their initiation period.
You would think he would name them after serial killers but instead they’ve all got punny names like Vera Fang, Jean-Barc, and Volterrier.
I´ve always headcanoned him as a cat person .. but omg this is the best :D
Best guess is that the thing with the gold stripes could be an old robe or something. Or a boxing robe.
Omg can you imagine Adam in boxing clothing? I was thinking a crew member forgot to get their jacket, but now I can’t stop picturing Adam taking advantage of his speed and strength to win money by boxing pathetic fools who don’t know better while passing through small towns.
I always think of Jim as a top but I like the idea of someone topping him but I don’t know who! I have a glorious mental image of Jim on his knees looking up at someone and asking for permission to suck.
please consider: Oswald standing on his toes to very softly kiss Jim
I’ve always considered this. Specially after seeing this scene
Cute!
That is sweet. I also love how much it’s clearly not raining in that scene.
As a small person: yes I´ve considered this. And it´s adorable thank you for pointing out.
As a person who gets sunburned very easily: This is clearly (used as) a sun umbrella. (Yes I´ve used normal umbrellas walking in sunshine, and yes people looked at me funny.)
But if I remember correctly it did rain in this scene, or am I mistaken? It is not visible in this frame but you see it when he walks up the little hill with his umbrella? But now I really wish it wasn´t :D
Can we talk about the fact that Merle and Daryl (the rednecks worth no time to the original Atlanta group) are both avid readers?
Merle reading the Governor’s library and being able to quote obscure bible passages.
Daryl having his nose buried in a book while recovering on the farm.
They’re so quickly written off as inbred hicks at the beginning but they’re both damn smart. Team Woodbury and Team Prison would have been fucking lost without them.
That is all.
OK I need to crowdsource for my fic
Gobblepotters, please give this some thought and realistically answer these questions:
• What do our boys wear to their own beds? • Underwear preferences? • What do they like in bed? ;) • What are their sexual temperaments? Dominant or submissive? Rough or sensual? That sort of shit. • Cuddling? Do they both like it or is one more reluctant? • Who is more apprehensive about being in the relationship?
Your help is greatly appreciated. If your answer ends up in my fic, I’ll give you a shout-out in my fic notes.
Gobblepot
• What do our boys wear to their own beds? Jim sleeps only in his underwear, if there is an emergency he at least won´t be caught completely naked and living in Gotham kinda makes him expect those more frequently. Sometimes he slips under the sheets with his sleeveless undershirt still on but usually he wakes up annoyed when the shirt has moved up over his belly and the fabric pools uncomfortably around his chest. Half asleep he takes it off and tosses it on the floor.Oswald´s mother had always bought him pyjamas and he never really questioned the habit of wearing such. The new ones he bought for himself are much nicer though. Even in summer he not only wears them but keeps wrapping himself in the blankets, but of course the summer blankets are much thinner than the set for winter. When he was younger he sometimes took delight in undressing in the middle of the night, careful to stay under this blanket because of the cold in his room and because of the thought that his mother might see after him just in this moment. His mother never had forbidden him to sleep naked but somehow Oswald felt like she would not approve of it and this might have given the delicate feeling of the sheets against his completely bare skin even more thrill. He always made sure that he would wake up properly dressed again in the morning.
• Underwear preferences? Jim wears cotton trunks mostly white and dark blue. There are a few in his closet that are quite worn and with washed out color but usually he throws them away and tries to only wear fresh and clean ones. Oswald´s boxers are made from silk and usually fit his suits. They tend to have darker colors such as purple, black, green and some even have patterns. As soon as Oswald slipped into such a piece of underwear which had not been bought by his mother he never went back to wearing his old ones.
• What do they like in bed? ;) Jim likes it when Oswald is reduced to a panting mess overwhelmed with sensation and not able to do anything anymore than moaning. Oswald still get´s a thrill of what dirty things he makes this righteous detective with his almost goody two shoes attitude do to himself and all those things Jim actually lets Oswald to to him. Of course Oswald soon stopped measuring by his mother´s standards, basically everything was sinful in her eyes but he had already set those bars to a very different standard in his youth.
• What are their sexual temperaments? Dominant or submissive? Rough or sensual? That sort of shit. All my different head cannons are currently battling each other and especially this question is hard to decide. For a longer fic I´d say they switch. Like with their canon relationship sometimes Os has the upper hand and sometimes Jim. They both enjoy it but there might be a little real underlying power struggle behind it? For a short fic, ah I can´t decide. Oswald begging to get fucked against a dark alley wall or Oswald melting under Jim´s soft touch or Jim letting all loose when Oswald takes things into his hands. Idk.
• Cuddling? Do they both like it or is one more reluctant? Jim is a good man, cuddling just goes with it but if he is honest he loves it himself. His protective side kicks in when he has Oswald in his arms and feeling how he relaxes and his breath slows down makes him feel safe too. Although Oswald started with being the touchy one before their relationship it took some time to get there because Oswald never really got a hang of this aspect of relationships. He did not want to seem needy or weak but he complied when Jim had explained to him that he himself wanted it. It took a little until he stopped being reluctant but sooner or later he found out that this whole affectionate cuddling thing is actually nice and that liking Jim´s arms around him did not make him weak. Actually it gave him strength.
• Who is more apprehensive about being in the relationship? Oswald does not care about other peoples opinions, he had soon learned that no matter what you actually do people always find something to judge you and give you a hard time about it, so he never even tried too hard to hide his affections for Jim. Jim of course is still very aware of the issues that his work brings along and he actually cares about the judgment of (some) others but he came to the conclusion that it is more important to do right by the person you love.
I hit my toes and with the cooling pack on my foot I can´t properly walk. I start to feel like Oswald, well without the maddening pain with every step.
And thanks to buriedinblack´s questions I am currently drowning in Gobblepot headcannons. I´d love to see more headcannons to those questions.

Robin Lord Taylor sharing his headcanons about Oswald Cobblepot.
Remember Annie Hawkins? She was not only an awesome kick-ass character, which would have definitely deserved more screen time, it would have been great to get to know more about this interesting person but in Of Grave Importance (7.19) it is also suggested that she had some, well liaisons with Bobby, Sam and Dean. And it is great that there is no “slut-shaming”. Dean and Sam seem definitely to feel a little awkward (and well, i can understand that) but no one insults Annie.
Sam: “You know, uh, you know, she and Bobby had a thing, right?” Dean: “Yeah, yeah, I knew that.”…”Really?” Sam: “Yeah, kind of a fox-hole thing, very Hemingway.” Dean: “She and I kind of went Hemingway this one time too.” Sam: “Alright, well, that happens.” Dean: “Wait, you too?” Sam: “Look it was a while back, we ended up on the same case - she was stressed and I didn’t…have a soul.” Dean: “That’s a lot of fox holes.” x
well .. Annie had sex with Bobby, Sam AND Dean
what the hell
why is this woman not some kind of tumblr/fandom-queen?
she would sure make a great role model
Annie was awesome. (I’ve headcanoned ever since this episode aired that Endverse!Cas lost his virginity to her. She collected three, why not the whole set? Plus she just seemed nice and it makes me happy to think it could have happened that way.)
I like your headcanon! Thats a lovely idea. (And your tags: Team Free Will, Gotta Catch 'Em All, :D I´m still giggling ^^)
This really makes me want to go out with Annie on a girls night, with cocktails and whiskey, cookies and everything. And first it would be stories about hunting and all bad ass stuff, maybe some haircare tips and as it is getting later and later Annie will share those other hunting stories. The fox hole stuff. Comparing the whole Team Free Will. ^^
And I am still marveled that they put such a little detail into not.treating.it´s.female.charas.all.so.super.natural, and dealt with it in such a pleasant way.
This is one of the main scenes that people point to when they want to snark at us Loki apologists. So I’m going to indulge in writing out my headcanon of what was going on with our woobie villain in this scene.
I won’t claim that it really justifies this particular act of mayhem. (If he hadn’t wanted/needed to attract the Avengers’ attention with this stunt, he could have quietly kidnapped the guy and taken him, intact, to open the place with the unobtainium they needed without harming the guy.) I won’t claim it makes him a nice person. I just want him assigned to the correct rung in hell, you might say.
So, the first thing to remember is something that’s been pointed out many times. While Loki is stealing the guy’s eyeball, and probably killing the guy, he isn’t looking at his victim. He’s watching everyone else panic, and smiling at the sight. Because for him the “fun” isn’t in hurting someone, it’s in causing chaos and panic. Back on Asgard he did this in fairly harmless ways, like conjuring illusory snakes to scare people. Now he’s scaring people by causing actual harm, but the pleasure is in the panic he’s unleashing, not in the harm itself. Which means that he doesn’t need to actually harm people, in favorable circumstances he could go on messing with people with harmless illusions for his kicks.
Then bear in mind: this guy has just spent a year being tortured by Thanos. A prisoner. Now he is the one people are afraid of. After a year of helplessness suddenly he has power again. Of course he gets a rush from that. It isn’t a nice thing, but it’s a completely normal impulse. It’s why abusive parents smack their kids around after their bosses yell at them. It’s the kind of nasty impulse we created civilization to try to tame, but it’s still in us.
Then, take into account the contention by many fans, myself included, that Loki never intended for his “invasion” to succeed. That he wanted the Avengers to thwart the Chitauri. That’s why he started off with this attention-getting stunt. He could have quietly kidnapped Eyeball Guy from his home later that night and gotten the whatsit with no witnesses, and only a handful of people would have even noticed the stuff was missing before it was too late. Instead, he first brutalizes the guy in front of dozens of witnesses, then makes a bunch of random civilians kneel and listen to his monologue. Loki is somewhat crazy, but he knows that making random German opera-goers kneel is not going to help his plans of world domination. Nor does he make his escape once he has the eyeball, but stands around spewing ridiculous guff about people craving subjugation.
No, Stuttgart was a publicity stunt, deliberately designed to get the Avengers’ attention. So part of what was giving him satisfaction was knowing that his plan was working.
Frankly, there was probably also just some good old-fashioned adrenalin involved.
So: Loki. Not a nice guy, but also not the monster so many people want to paint him as.
