Matilda dims its lights for good on Broadway today. I’m upset about it. This show was something really special. I feel lucky to have seen this miracle of a show 5 times. (shoutout to my amazing Matildas: Bailey Ryon {who represented our hometown like a boss}, Sophia Gennusa, & Oona Laurence) Farewell to an amazing show that taught everyone “just because you find that life’s not fair it doesn’t mean that you just have to grin and bear it if you always take it on the chin and wear it nothing will change”/“nobody else is going to put it right for me, nobody but me is gonna change my story” - among other things. It will be greatly missed.

didn’t take many pics at cabaret for a cause since i was near the front and didn’t want my phone up in peoples’ way the whole time, but i got some pics of sophia - mostly because i figured @noneeyewithleftyork would appreciate seeing pics of her latest accomplishment! she sang “burn” from hamilton and was terrific!
