how does my muse see authority? Is it something to be respected at all times, or is it okay to call out injustice hiding behind the letter of the law?
Amelia is not a proponent of complete anarchy, there has to be some authority. And yes, while people deserve to be treated with respect, and she was raised by her grandfather to respect the position even if you do not like the person (like an non-abusive strict teacher), but no, they have to be held accountable.

More often than not, Amelia is a rule-follower. However, if it hurts those she cares about or is hindering her assets from doing good or protecting them, she is more than willing to break them.
