this one will probably come as a surprise to no one, but this is my favourite line/quote/whatever it is of the entire show. it means a hell of a lot to me, so much so i got it tattooed on myself (more about that here) but it always stands out to me for other reasons too. the way the actresses sing this part of the song, the feeling they put into it. it’s elphaba realising this is my only choice now and i have to do this, trust my instincts, risk everything, and DO THIS. it’s where her character changes, from this try to see the good in everything, we can make this right, the wizard will save us, naive girl, into this young woman who has realised, people can be shit, they lie, they break your heart and they let you down and you need to get out before they destroy you, and she LEAPS. it’s the passion and feeling the actresses put into that line, that makes it SO important, and i really connect to the elphaba’s at this point, she’s breaking out and taking this chance that will change her life forever, and she’s terrified but she has to do it.

got to have some selfie fun with this precious lady on Saturday, I am so grateful to get the opportunities to see her when I can because she is one of the sweetest people ever. (not to mention, she was incredible in the songbook of judy garland!!!) (at New Theatre Cardiff)

So Saturday me and the girls (Amy, Becca, Pieces and Beth) went to Leicester to see Water Babies the musical, and WOW I loved it. Of course the main reason we went was Louise Dearman who killed it in this show oh my god, her voice and the songs she gets was totally my highligh. I'm pretty sure get's more incredible constantly (and more adorable seriously she's so precious) but the whole show was great, and such a good cast. If anyone gets a chance in it's last week to go then DO IT.
Oh yeah and then after the show we met some of the cast so we had to recreate our October photo with Lou :3 and then I got a photo with Lauren Samuels who was another of the main cast, and it's actually the first time I've seen her in anything so that was pretty great tooo :))))
All in all it was a wonderful and fucking hilarious day (cARROTS) but yeah I've missed these girls and Lou and it was totally worth the shitty travelling for :)
