no offense but the solution to not verbally abusing children is not simply never disciplining them AT ALL and claiming so implies abuse is discipline which is not true. i'm a child abuse victim and i've worked in childcare where I disciplined children without screaming at them or hurting them in any way and it's actually quite easy to do. you just have to know what the child wants and understands. a child with NO discipline is going to have a lot of problems in social situations later in life, especially personal relationships. why is this so controversial?
