It has been a while, hasn’t it? Sorry for that. I’m in the thick of my grad program and I’ve felt a little behind with the constant deluge of DR content. Honestly, I’m trying to keep my head above water rn.

I have recently fallen into hyper fixating on good omens and I’ve got a side-blog (@zionworkzs) where I’m rambling and writing here and there.

I do plan on finishing my WIPs for y’all soon (probably December, if I’m honest). I also have a lot of the Blue Neighborhood Sequel Series planned (if anyone still wants that).

Hope you’re doing well too, love. Sorry I’ve been distant.

mac! i promise you, nobody is here thinking that you’re lazy or bad at planning longer fics, sometimes life gets in the way when you want to write or the words don’t come to you as easily anymore and that’s ok!!! if you need to take a break or stop writing it, that’s what you have to do. if writing isn’t enjoyable for you anymore, don’t force yourself though it, and i’m saying that as a huge fan of friendly fire. but your mental health and enjoyment should come first, every time. to be in a position where you’re in grad school and interning and still making time to write? that’s so impressive, but try not to be hard on yourself when it gets harder to manage all of the things on your plate.

work on friendly fire as much or as little as you want/need to, and don’t feel bad putting it away if it doesn’t bring you joy anymore <3

Hi. So. I really want to finish Friendly Fire soon, but I have no motivation but I also feel like shit leaving it so long without updates. I’m sure other people have had this before but like you think about the fic, and are just gripped by anxiety/guilt and it makes you feel kinda sick. I’m doing my best to push through, but my mental health is really deteriorating (due to factors not fic writing related) and I’m a full time graduate student and I have an internship starting. I don’t mean to make excuses. But I also hate that I always take too long to post chaptered fics. Im sure y’all think Im just lazy and bad at planning chaptered fics, which you’d be right about.

Sorry, that was a long winded vent. I’m sorry. I love you 💖

TLDR: I’m working on Friendly Fire. It’s going slower than I want. I love you. I’m sorry.

Good news and bad news folks!

Good News: Got my computer back

Bad News: The repair people wiped the whole thing. And I am a yougin and don’t believe in backing up computer data. Luckily most of my WIPs were on Google Docs, but some were fully drafted and written on Notes. Friendly Fire is on Google Docs, so that’s all good! Gonna try and have that next chapter out next week. 

Just be patient with me.

Listen, I have the first two chapters written. I just haven’t had the time or emotional capability to write more lol. If it’s something you want, I can for sure move it up in the long list of WIPs that I am waiting to publish till Friendly Fire and Bloom are done.
