Day 4: Fallen (in love)
If you asked Dockson when he fell in love he probably wouldn't know how to answer.
With Kelsier is not only a moment, it's an immeasurable amount of small ones that inevitably made him fall; but there is one, a very specific one, that does closely resemble to the question.
Sitting on the floor, bottle of wine in hand and laughing out loud.
It's one of his first robberies, one that went wrong and nearly left both of them dead, but they're laughing, because Kelsier has always had that gift of turning the worst situation into a bad joke.
Kelsier laughs so hard he's almost crying and Dox looks at him smiling while drinking from the bottle they are sharing. The feeling is good, looking at him feels warm in the chest and the question starts growing on his mind, because maybe, there's not only friendship what he is feeling.
There's a lot of things that had changed from that moment, they are not longer that two boys dreaming with petit revenge and making themselves rich, but looking at Kelsier's smiles while talking about the stars hiding above the mist, Dox knows that this, this warm feeling in the chest is never gonna change.
