Cosmere Inktober 2021 | Day 4: Fallen

Since the Mistborn series is the one I have read the least of the cosmere books so far there won't be a lot of those in my inktober line-up. I only have vague recollection of scenes from reading them like five years ago. (although I do want to reread soon...) But thinking about some of the upcoming prompts I do want draw Wax and Steris for one of them, since their slowly evolving romance is something that I remember liking a great deal. So last night I scribbled a Steris, just because I felt like it and because I remember enjoying her character from the start.

Day 4: Fallen (in love)

If you asked Dockson when he fell in love he probably wouldn't know how to answer.

With Kelsier is not only a moment, it's an immeasurable amount of small ones that inevitably made him fall; but there is one, a very specific one, that does closely resemble to the question.

Sitting on the floor, bottle of wine in hand and laughing out loud.

It's one of his first robberies, one that went wrong and nearly left both of them dead, but they're laughing, because Kelsier has always had that gift of turning the worst situation into a bad joke.

Kelsier laughs so hard he's almost crying and Dox looks at him smiling while drinking from the bottle they are sharing. The feeling is good, looking at him feels warm in the chest and the question starts growing on his mind, because maybe, there's not only friendship what he is feeling.

There's a lot of things that had changed from that moment, they are not longer that two boys dreaming with petit revenge and making themselves rich, but looking at Kelsier's smiles while talking about the stars hiding above the mist, Dox knows that this, this warm feeling in the chest is never gonna change.

English is not my first language so I hope that this is good enough lmao.

I must said the idea of how Dox realized that maybe he's in love I read it a time ago in another Tumblr post, but I just can't find it, sorry😩

To that person I want you to know that I love it and I had to draw something about it JAJAJA

Day 6: Cryptic

Aka the man who takes up way too much of my mental real estate

Cosmere inktober – 20 blade There were many ideas and options for „blade“, but in the end, how can I say no to bridge four wholesomeness?

And because with today’s prompt the Stormlight Archive bullied it’s way into my mind… hence additionally I had to draw Adolin flirting with basically everyone – not just his wife, but with ardents and scribes, his surgeon, his sword and his (father‘s) horse. And then of course there is Navani happily flirting with her spouse, but I’d say her attempts here border heavily on the territory of foreplay…

Hey it’s Inktober again! I missed last year’s event due to translation work, but this year I could do some for it! \^O^/ (Mainly Cosmere prompts, as usual)

I’ve realized I haven’t drawn Parshendi yet so I had to fix it! So here is Venli in her envoyform with Timbre.

i might barely use my main anymore but i figured falling headfirst into the Stormlight Archive to the point where the first line of the first book’s prologue plays over and over again in my head might just count as a good enough reason to toss some Szeth art out into the wilds. every time he’s mention i mentally yell GO WHITE BOY GO

Day 17: Melody

Busy day today hence the evening post. I really enjoy drawing the singers

Kaladin and Syl’s bond is just so sweet.

I drew this shortly after finishing Rhythm of War, which gave me ALL THE FEELS.

Thinking of how to answer Stormlight Archve questions without revealing spoilers, and not just going RAFO.
