He didn’t know how this all started, it was supposed to be a normal supply mission and then you happened. He knows he’s not supposed to have these feelings about comrades but you were so much more than that.

He didn’t want to admit he spent a lot of his free time, getting to know you whether that be through talking to you or following you around. The latter was mostly due to your squad not being assigned regularly with the 501st. He had later acquired your personal coms due to a recent mission, he was so happy. Finally being able to communicate with you when he isn’t able to be there for you in person.

He strikes up messages first throughout the week just to keep in touch, to make sure you hadn’t or wouldn’t forget about him, that he was still alive and coming back to you. He soon found himself messaging you every day, he found your conversations the highlight of his days. You were amazing to talk to, he couldn’t wait for his next deployment on Coruscant, to be able to spend time with you in person and even meet your other squadmates and friends. Though he was a little envious of his brothers that did serve with you in your squad, he knows that will soon come to pass once he is together with you.

He was ecstatic it was a week before the 501st were returning to Coruscant, that joy soon faded to concern and then anger. A day into this new week you had stopped replying to his messages. At first, he assumed it was due to your busy schedule, but the day passed and still no word from you. He started to fear the worst by the second day, he checked the deployment records for your squad. Fearing that you had been sent on some dangerous mission without telling him almost broke his heart, almost. He found that you hadn’t been deployed and were still safely located on Coruscant.

Did someone threaten you into stopping your communication? Or were you simply ignoring him? He honestly didn’t know what would be worse. Either way in a few days he would get to see you, hold you and finally kiss you.
