I know I haven’t spent much time in the Les Mis fandom lately, but I swear I am lurking around. And much like the fandom itself that awakens like a kraken every year (looking forward to waking up and seeing it trend), I knew I would also awaken like a kraken once Barricade Day hit!

Now, let’s all get in a circle and cry over are beloved Les Amis! 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I sent a reminder like this out last year, and I am doing it again this year.

Since we are officially a month (!!!!) out from Barricade Day, I know that a lot of people have begun working on their fanfics, their fanart, and any other posts they’d like to create for those days, and I can’t wait to see what everyone is cooking up.

This, however, is a friendly reminder to those who may not have the time, desire, or energy to create something to not feel pressured that they need to contribute to participate.

Everyone in the fandom can participate on those days, anyway they want to. Whether that’s by being a creator or just sitting and reblogging every post you see. It’s meant to be a fun, sad little day, where we all gather together to cry and celebrate (???) are beloved Les Amis de l’ABC.
