Just finished watching the movie for my annual Barricade Day rewatch, and if there’s a moment that I don’t think we talk about enough, it’s the fact that in the final scene Grantaire is standing by Enjolras’s side.
Just like he always wanted.
Enjolras is getting the France he’s always wanted, but he also has the person who loves him the most standing next to him.
And goddamn it, it punches me right in the feels.
