PSA:

No, I am not dead. I have been around, but instead of making my own posts, I've mostly just been reblogging things.

The reason for why I've been so silent is that I had to take a break from fandom and fanfic things for a while because I had been writing fanfic consistently since 2015 without taking a break. It was much needed.

Hopefully, I can finish up my editing project quickly and get back into writing the ExR fics that have been living in my brain for years. But at the same time, I'll also be working on some original fiction (currently attempting to outline a book) and other things that are just for me. So, it's also about finding the balance between them.

But just because I am not around as often or posting fanfic, my love for ExR has never faded. I still love them with my entire heart and they are and will always be the OTP of OTP's.

And it’s time for my annual…..

So…when I first joined the fandom, I realized fairly quickly that ExR was what I turned to when I was sad and anxious in order to cheer me up or calm me down.

Good thing to know that eight years later, they still have that power while I’m anxious about my puppy, when not even watching an old, favorite TV show could do that.

Writing Update (02/18/23)

First, long time no see, but I’m back with another writing update.

I finished posting Tomorrow, Always and Forever a few days ago. Thank you all for reading this fanfic! Hope that enjoyed it. You can read it by checking out my pinned post.

With TA&F finished, it will be awhile until I start work on my next fic since my focus will remain solely on my editing project now. I have finished edits on Poison and Wine and Wildest Dreams, and have moved on to Enemy of Love. Reminder for EoL is that it’s getting rewritten entirely, so I am only up to rewriting the prologue, but will work on it a little more after I finished this update. However, the original version will be available to read by PDF on my WordPress blog. I will also be returning to working on my outline for the rewritten version of Will You Love Me Tomorrow very soon.

But once I do return to writing fanfics, my first one will be Safe and Sound, which is the prequel for Begin Again.

I’ve been trying to figure out the ExR song off Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” album since it was released until finally, last night, it clicked after scrolling through a Les Mis tag and a blog (can’t remember which one) pointed out that “The Great War” is very ExR-coded.

“The Great War” is ExR-coded no matter which way you look at it, but especially looking at the song through the lens of modern-era reincarnation of their canon characters. And, ugh, does it hurt to think about. 🥺😭🥺😭

Writing Update (10/30/2022)

First, I’m going to start by saying Happy Halloween! 🎃🎃👻👻🎃🎃👻👻

Second, I finished editing Somethings Are Meant to Be on October 3rd. The next batch of stories that will be edited are Poison and Wine and Wildest Dreams. They are two of shortest stories, so I figured might as well knock those two out of the way. However, edits won’t be made to either one until I have finished Tomorrow, Always and Forever.

I am currently on chapter 11 of Tomorrow, Always and Forever, so I’m getting there, it’s just taking some time. I’m hoping to be in the editing stage by Thanksgiving, so I can start posting sometime in December. All of which is entirely doable. So, it’s coming and it’s coming soon than we think.

It’s a very short update again, but I’ll be back with another soon.

Writing Update (08/23/22)

I have another update for you that is once again really short.

I have finished the outline for Tomorrow, Always and Forever. However, I won’t start writing it until I have finished editing Somethings Are Meant to Be. The goal is to still have TAaF be posted in the fall or early winter.

I’m almost done with the edits of chapter 12 of Somethings Are Meant to Be, so hopefully I will be finished with it very soon.

And finally, I have begun work on the outline for the new and improved version of Will You Love Me Tomorrow? I am very excited about the new and improved version and I hope you will be too.

Writing Update (08/09/2022)

A short little update for you today.

Not much has changed on the editing project front. I’m still working on Somethings Are Meant to Be, but everything is coming along great. I have no idea when the newly edited version will be available to read. Hopefully soon!

Secondly, I am almost finished with the outline of Trust with Your Heart, which has been renamed as Tomorrow, Always and Forever (the title will make more sense once the story is posted and finished). I am currently outlining the second to last chapter, and then there are the epilogues. I am hoping to get the story posted in the remaining part of the year or the beginning of next year, but we shall see.

And finally, there’s a little news in the Forever & Always series front. I am adding a second alternate story. This one, titled Mine, will still have Grantaire leaving without telling Enjolras of his pregnancy, but how it’s different is that E finds R in Syosset while he’s still pregnant and how they work through that.

Writing Update (04/04/2022)

It’s just a tiny one this time because I wanted to let everyone know that’s interested that I posted Grantaire’s Interview that he gives in You and Me in full on Ao3 late yesterday evening. It’s a surprise to me too that I dropped it like this, but I wanted to get it out because I was tired of having it in the back of my mind and so that I could completely spend the rest of the year focusing on the editing project and getting my next fic up. The interview is not something that you absolutely have to read. It is just meant to be a fun little extra. You can read it here! I also wanted to give a heads up that I changed the title of the series that the interview belongs to from “It’s You and Me, Forever” to “I Just Want You” because I felt the latter fit it much better than the former. But I am just so happy now that this series is complete and you can read it in its entirety here!

Nothing has changed much since my last update regarding the process on the editing project or on Trust with Your Heart.

(03/20/22) Hello, everybody

It’s been a minute once again, but I am back with another quick writing update.

First of all, I have changed how I am doing my writing updates once again. I will now be writing them in my notes app of my iPad, then screenshot them over to Instagram and copy and paste them over to Tumblr and post them in the archive category of my WordPress blog. I just find this easier to do.

Without further ado, the update!

I’m sorry, but I live and breathe the trope of Enjolras not feeling good enough for Grantaire’s affection! I see it the other way around all the time, so sometimes it’s nice to make it the reverse.

Of course, I also just love anything with the slightest bit of role reversal with these two!
