Reblog and put in the tags a celebrity you’re a fan of, but their stans irritate you to no end.
AARON TVEIT as Enjolras LES MISÉRABLES (2012) dir. Tom Hooper
A revolution is not stopped dead. It always has some necessary undulations before returning to the condition of peace like a mountain descending toward the plain.

I drew our favorite French revolutionary <3
Don’t get me wrong I love the Roxanne opt up video as much as the next person, but I am begging you all to find another video that showcases Aaron’s vocal range and how good of a singer he really is because there are better videos that do this than that one.
#he’s got that sadness in his eyes that you only ever see in catholic stained glass windows
I’m leaving this here and running away.
Just throwing this out there for those of you who didn’t catch on. Topher is meant to be in a tribe like “Hair”. That’s the reason for the costume, the hair, and the “let’s get naked” line from the trailer.

His stint as Enjolras in Les Mis 2012 movie sparks my love to Aaron Tveit and rediscovery to musical theatre. 😊 That was 2019.
You know sometimes it really annoys me when people come back with “he was the only one nominated” anytime someone mentions that Aaron deserved the Tony Award.
Like yes, okay, he was indeed the only one nominated, but here’s the thing, he didn’t win by default, no matter what anyone says. He still had to get 60% of the votes in order to win. The man still could have lost. Like truly there wasn’t a guarantee, and if you listen to his podcast with John-Owen Jones and Alistair Brammer (sorry that the link is Apple specific, but you can listen to it anywhere you get podcasts), he mentions being nervous that he could still lose.
Aaron gave/gives the role of Christian everything he has every single night. Like it doesn’t matter if Aaron is your favorite in the role or not, you can’t deny that. He spent five years of his life creating that role, giving his blood, sweat, and tears to it. He earned that Tony Award through his hard work alone. It wasn’t just some consolation prize because he was the only one nominated.
That award, for him, was a celebration of everything that he has done in the theatre, and that can’t be taken away from him.
happy tenth anniversary to les mis 2012, the movie that gave us aaron tveit and george bladgen as enjoltaire. and other of other things I guess.
