Well, I'm finally doing it. I'm opening commissions so that I can better afford some upcoming dental expenses. And expensive those expenses are, as I'm going to need at least two extractions (one surgical), two root canals, and two crowns done. My dentist down here estimated the full cost to be around $3.2K, but since I have to go see a specialist for most of these procedures, I know it's going to more than that. So yes, it's time to open commissions.

After a couple of weeks, this is finally done~ For those of you who follow my instagram, you've might have seen the stories I've been posting with the WIPs of these three.

These are the three main characters from one of the fantasy stories I’m working on, which has a sort of Golden Age of Piracy vibe mixed with a high fantasy vibe. I won't explain much more, since I'm still working on the worldbuilding, but basically, the world is split in half by a giant, near-impenetrable mountain range created by the gods.

Emil is a privateer in this one, so there’s no need for her to disguise herself at all (she's also still a demi-god but only Mary knows). Fitz is her naval contact for dropping off a percentage of her bounty as well as an old family friend. Mary is Emil’s wife, and also, secretly, a selkie high priestess (Emil knows but no one else does).

I’m still working on a lot of world and plot building, but it's been fun~ though, i'm bloody well glad to be done with these outfits after however many days i put into them.

Also, do you like my little signature? I found a way to make my initials look like a deer/elk head~! 😁

Been watching a lot of shark documentaries lately, which made me want to sketch some endangered shark species. My bic pen wasn't the most cooperative thing during these sketches; i think it's because it's well over 10 years old lol. I've got some new ones coming, though, because I've been enjoying sketching in the ballpoint.

Since I still can't muster up the motivation/desire to work on the cute Maddie piece I had planned, I decided to give sketching/drawing with ballpoint pen a try and, for some reason, drawing mushrooms called out to me.

So. Here you go. Mushrooms in ballpoint pen with some white posca to touch up a few spots. I'm a lefty, so I started on the right with the chestnut 'shroom, so it looks the worst since I was figuring out how best to use the pen xD

I don't like the hobbit films for many reasons but the "what is this horrid creature, goblin mutant?" "that's my wee lad, gimli!" scene was such a precious addition, like legolas had no place in the films but if they gave him that one cameo it would have been brilliant

Mermay is almost over and I found myself randomly inspired so I tried my luck with a Mermay version of Lady Dis herself.

Sadly its just a WIP cant promisse to finish in time. So enjoy this.
