1. This is the one and only post I will post about this.
2. This post will be funny.
3. I sometimes only break promises, but never two at once so you do the math.
I have a little over 3,000 followers now (welcome to all you new friends!) and some of you may know this, so I apologize in advance to both of you, but I am in a webseries called Classic Alice.
Because the series isn’t produced by NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC, Comedy Central, Netflix, Amazon, or any other large corporatey groups, we are crowdfunding to continue the series. Because it’s not produced by Zach Braff, we’re using IndieGoGo.
At this moment, we’re only 51 hours away from our deadline and we’ve raised just under $44,000 of our $60,000 goal. With less time than MacGruber to pull off this crazy plan, we need to find a way to raise $16K. (Contribute here.)
That’s the bad news. The good news is, some anonymous benefactor has promised us $10,000 but only ONLY if we reach $50,000 by Friday. Why is there this arbitrary pre-requisite to their generosity? I don’t know. They’re offering us a lot of money let’s not ask too many probing questions. (Let’s also avoid using the word probing in the future. Gross.)
Point is, we really only need to come up with about $6,000 more by Friday to make our goal.
As I humble-bragged a few paragraphs ago, I have a little more than 3,000 followers here on my tumblob… and I’m asking for your help. If each of you contributed just $2.00 right now, we’d make our goal instantly.
If all of you contributed $4, we’d finish the campaign with $66,000! That’s 6,000 extra to make sure we do the best work possible!
If all of you contributed $10, we’d finish the campaign with $84,000! That’s 24,000 over our goal, meaning the actors would possibly be both paid and fed!
If all of you contributed $25, we’d finish with $129,000 and we could afford to make the show and also buy a small pre-owned yacht.
If all of you contributed $100, we’d finish with $354,000 and everyone in the cast could each rent, crash, and buy a replacement Mercedes!
And finally, if you all contributed $500, we’d finish with $1,554,000 which is roughly the GDP of most mid-sized New England towns.
We’re just looking for $2. Each. Please. Thank you.
