The current WIP is the fifth book in the Illthdar series, King's Men. The first draft has only a few more chapters left before it's finished, so things are really getting intense.

How intense? There is a battle in progress that half of the cast is caught up in while, in another part of the world the other half is getting espionage 101. I don't write who lives or dies in my plotlines, and I research injuries after they happen - so i have legit no clue if everyone is getting out of this book in one piece... Or alive.

For Guardians of Las, while it wasn't so much a plot deviation but more a word limit issue, I had to drop a scene very early on with Zercey and Abaddon working together to complete sections of a training obstacle course. There wasn't enough time to introduce the concept and run-up to the plot point, plus it risked distracting from a later one in the book.
