Seth was born into a Jewish-Muslim household and ended up stuck on Illthdar when he was a preteen. Due to the sheer difference in animals between the worlds, he's taken a novel approach to keeping kosher/halal - basically, his rule is that it can't look like it was a pig.
That said, there is a lot of things that don't look like a pig, and some of those on Illthdar need to be approached with caution, too. Like the quiche at the Aliwifery tavern.
As for his favourite foods, Seth loves spice and lives for anything that reminds him of curry.
