First Line Tag
Thanks for the tag @linneaeliam. Finally got a day off, and after spending most of it napping, I woke up to get some writing done:
Gil rocked back in his heels, taking in the empty stretch of sand. The beaches were usually empty in early April, too cold yet for reliable lounging weather. The threat of sudden spring squalls didnt apply to Gil and his sweetie.

Thanks for tagging me. Sorry for taking so long to get to this.
From the most recent chapter in the current Illthdar WIP: The King’s Men:
Lemko plotted a careful path for Zercey and her through the forest, paying special attention so they avoided the more open spaces between the trees. After the fourth time she picked a route that forced them to circumnavigate around a patch of bare ground, Zercey had to ask, “Why are we going this way? Wouldn’t it be faster to cut straight through?”
Lemko shook her head. “It isn’t safe.” She replied, quickly adding, “No words now, please.”
