Trope- What’s a pet peeve you have about writing?
Exposition, laundry lists, info dumps, description that lasts more than a 4 sentence paragraph…. I have lots, really.
Critic- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received about writing?
Quantity, not quality when writing your first draft. I used to get majorly stuck, and wouldn’t progress with my novel for months because I was too focused on if it sounded right. I soon learnt that finishing the novel comes first, and making it sound good is what revision is for.
