Blurb (in development and open for feedback):

Alder Brites has completed most of their service to the human government without questioning the oppressive systems on 23rd century Earth. But their encounters with Sefynne Iyed, alleged vantarian terrorist, raise questions they can’t answer. When Sefynne and Alder realize they have a common goal neither of them can reach alone, their reluctant partnership leads each of them to question what they truly believe, what they’re willing to sacrifice, and what they owe to their society.

I wasn’t going to do this until later but I was struggling over my existentialism paper and I was like, you know what I’m going for it!!

Honey Hawk is in its third draft and I know I have more work to do with it but I need some outside perspective. I understand how busy everyone is, but if you are interested in reading something new, it would mean the world to me!!

I’ve posted the first 10 chapters on betabooks and will post more pretty quickly. If you’re interested, please message me!

I’m currently experimenting with a new betaing process. Chapters will be released as I finish line editing them, at the expected pace of one chapter every week. Betas are encouraged to read at a similar pace, with a deadline to be discussed after the first few chapters.

As a disclaimer, I may not choose everyone who fills out this form! It all comes down to if you’d fit the story or not.

looking for GERMAN(-speaking) beta readers!

Hi there! I finished editing my NaNoWriMo-novel ‘The Assassination of Keiko Ito’ recently and now I am looking for beta-readers! There is no need to actually be German, but since the novel is in German, you should be fluent.

What beta-reading means / what I expect:

I need reliable people to read the book and give me feedback until the end of June. Feedback does not include to correct my horrible spelling and punctuation mistakes but to answer some questions I would hand to you in an extra form (like this one). It also means that you’re not allowed to show it to a third person - this is a strict relationship built on trust. (This also means I need an e-mail address for the google doc.) I don’t need editors! I just want to have some first opinions on it. I’ve never done anything like this before.
