all goofing aside I genuinely don't understand the urge to reimagine Taylor Allison Swift as a secretly queer icon when the pop music scene(TM) is like. literally overflowing with women who actually like women. Gaga and Kesha and Miley and Halsey are right there. Rina Sawayama and Hayley Kiyoko and Rebecca Black and Kehlani and Victoria Monét and Miya Folick if you're willing to get slightly less top 100. Janelle and Demi for them nonbinary takes on liking girls. like what are we doing here. like I'm not even saying you can't enjoy Taylor but why would you hang all your little gay hopes on her.

i know some nfl bros (and certain other individuals) have their crazy theories about how it’s being rigged for the chiefs to win and also to boost viewership from taylor appearances. it’s pretty doubtful they’ll even beat the ravens, but even if this were all true, it’s kinda hilariously ideal for her. she could have a bunch of nfl bros mad at her, but she’s just gonna be out of the country for many months and won’t have to deal with their harassment in a very direct scale

not to be parasocial on main, but i do hope taylor and travis work out simply because it’s nice seeing her be this cheerful and happy. that being said, i also don’t think there’s any point in disparaging her previous relationship/ex because…. what’s the point? she’s clearly moved on from that relationship and it obviously meant something meaningful for her at the time.

interpreting her lyrics is one thing, but she’s also not some fictional character for you guys to project your theories onto whether it be writing weird headcanons about her and her bf having babies or thinking she’s in a fake relationship.
