Tamagotchi Uni Update 1.1.0

Version 1.1.0 is here! As promised by Bandai, to address a an auto update bug, an update would be pushed out after July 26th, 2023. Here she is!

This update provides much more enhancements than just a bug fix for the auto update. First off, after the update, the Tama Arena in the Tamaverse is now open! The limited-time event Tama Racing is ready to begin! This event starts on July 31st, 2023 at 14:00.

Second, there are some volume adjustments, now you have more than just the ability to turn on or off the sound. With a slider you can adjust the volume from lower to higher and find the right volume for you. Bandai is clearly listening to your feedback and making adjustments already (2 weeks after launch), this is incredible.

Third, Balance adjustments have been made to the Fast Food game at the Arcade, which was actually giving us more Gotchi points than displayed after wining. Many caretakers were able to max out their Gotchi points thanks to this bug. Oh well!

Fourth, the auto update feature will automatically update your Tamagotchi Uni when your Tamagotchi character is asleep and you have a certain amount of battery left.

Fifth, based on your feedback, Bandai has made adjustments to displays and effects for a smoother gameplay experience. Lovely!

Now let’s talk about those bugs that Bandai squashed.

First, the auto update bug as mentioned above has been fixed to automatically update once per day. Second, character growth paths have been fixed, there news an issue when certain conditions were met the character would not grow into the intended character.

Third, at the Arcade, the amount of points display was not accurate to the amount of Gotchi points received. Lastly, Tama Fashion and Past Tama, there was an issue when certain conditions were met, the screen would return to the main room, and also other bugs were fixed.

It’s really simple to update your Tamagotchi Uni. Bandai has outlined the update process on the official Tamagotchi website under the news section. To update your Tamagotchi Uni, you’ll need to be connected to a reliable Wi-Fi connection.

From the network icon in the menu, select UPDATE -> CHECK -> CHECK FOR UPDATE. It will then display connecting, loading, and then display the update of version 1.1.0, after being prompted with “Update?” Select “Yes” and then when prompted “Update and Restart?” select “Yes”.

Your Tamagotchi Uni will then display that it is updating, and display “Update Done!” After. Then the Tamagotchi Uni will need a Data Update, which will then show connecting, updating, and “Update Done!”.

Once the update is complete a Shirtotama will appear in your Tamagotchi’s main room and talk to you about the information and features of the update.

To verify you’re on the latest version, from the menu select the network icon then select UPDATE -> LASTUPDATE, the version should display VER: 1.1.0.
