being a writer leads to a genuinely helpful but also very stupid kind of mindfulness where you'll be having a sobbing breakdown or the worst anxiety attack of your life and think "okay, I really need to pay attention to how this feels. so I can incorporate it into my fanfiction."
#When I wrote To The Realm Of The Sky#I reread old blog entries from the time I was traumatized BC I was like#A lot of trauma involves blocking out the specifics of how the traumatic event feels#And I spent months trying to use blogging to cope with those feelings#And it's really rare to see trauma captured in media by an actual traumatized person so it's important to me to try#Anyway I feel like I did actually capture it accurately to my experience#I also felt like utter shit for like a week after rereading those blog entries#Do not recommend
