FFVI - Terra Branford

FFVI fanart, Terra Branford. Even now, after playing the part many times, I can’t help but get goosebumps when the game starts and her theme start to play while they march towards the mine town Narche planning to use her in order to destroy it. Absolutely fantastic mood that never loses it’s charm. As her inventory art pic and in game sprite had light greenish hair, I always imagined her to have one instead of blond shes sometimes portrayed to have.  I like Yoshitaka Amano’s style and design for her as well, but also the one they ended using in the game. So I merged all of those things together in this portrait.

Frontal view portrait practice, painting original character. I wanted to paint red hair this time . I also tried a bit more details in the background/lighting for the mood. My hand is getting from those pains I experienced too, so I’m happy about that . Now I can try and finish some fanart work I have unfinished . Tools: Sai and some ps.

Magical Paths Begging To Be Walked

Roads and paths pervade our literature, poetry, artwork, linguistic expressions and music. Even photographers can’t keep their eyes (and lenses) off of a beautiful road or path, which is why we collected this list of 28 amazing photos of paths.

Paths like these have a powerful grip on the human imagination – they can bring adventure, promise and change or solitude, peace and calm. There’s nothing like a walk down a beautiful path to clear your head – or to fill it with ideas!
