New original painting presenting new original character, Diane. She is a goddess of night and stars. Like with what I did with the other two scenery paintings, I wanted to add some living things to accompany her, so I added butterflies emitting blue light thinking it would fit the night theme. I tried to create a magical night-time feeling with the blue color palette and shining lights.

I worked on this for a long time on and off for many months. I’m still not 100% satisfied with it, but I thank all of you for being patient with me and I do hope you enjoy this painting nonetheless ^^

I’m back with fanart of general Beatrix from Final Fantasy IX. I started to play this game during holidays, and got really inspired again. It is definitely one of my favorites from the entire series. I’ve been painting this for few months here and there, when ever I had time from my studies and painting practices. I remember painting her last time in 2015 so I wanted to revisit this character and see how I can portray her now and if I have improved since then. I also took some artistic liberties with her swords handle and belt decorations, but otherwise I tried to stick with the original style quite closely.

Finally finished this original work inspired by springtime, she symbolizes the blossoming life. After long winter I always feel so happy when spring comes, and trees and plants start to grow their leaves. With this painting, I wanted to take time and paint a lot of flowers and details, and even thought it was a lot of work and took time, I really enjoyed the process of painting this .  I also wanted to work with a lot warmer color theme this time, to fit the theme.

I also want thank you guys for reaction to my question about posting wips, I will keep posting more of them as I paint ^^.
