Living on a planet where any government is allowed to go through with military action that they know will result in the death of civilians should be gut-wrenchingly painful for all of us. Over 10,000 children have died in Palestine since October 7th, and there is not a single child in Gaza who is not suffering. CHILDREN. INFANTS. I can't stop thinking about all the innocent children we are losing and leaving to suffer every day.

Please use whatever privilege you have to do whatever you can during the Global Strike for Palestine (January 21st - 28th). Contact your representatives. Call for an immediate ceasefire. Boycott, stimulate the economy as minimally as possible, participate in pro-Palestinian protests, educate yourself, and most importantly, amplify the voices of Palestinians.

Talk to your friends, families, and neighbors about the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the history of Zionist colonization in Palestine.

Learn about Palestinian history by checking out the Palestine 101 course and PDM’s resource page. After learning about Palestine, you can begin acting to support the cause.

Center Palestinian voices and amplify Palestinian journalists, scholars, healthcare workers, helpers, and the diaspora. Decolonize your vocabulary! Learn how through the Palestine Media Training post on Instagram.
