Moments I think Blitzø realized his feelings for Stolas

I really don't think that Blitzø had an "Oh" moment. I think it was over a period of time, where he slowly realizes it, and then it comes unleashing out in either The Full Moon or Apology Tour.

Seeing Stars (S2, ep2)

This was Blitzø's reaction when he saw Stolas's human form for the first time. God, I love his subtle expressions here sm. Read this post, they explain it well, and it's also the post that made me want to make this post.

In the first pic, Blitzø looks surprised and confused, probably from the shock of seeing Stolas's human form for the first time. Probably didn't even consider he ever had one, lol

The second image, we see a small blush appear, and as @ifwebefriends said, it's the "I'm fucked" face, as he is filled with complicated emotions as he realizes he likes Stolas in every form. He looks really worried by this.

The third image, hid pupils are fully dilated. Instead of confused, he looks genuinely worried and vulnerable. His expression doesn't show lust, but more like a mix of someone who is nervous to be around someone they like and genuine fear. He is realizing that it isn't just lust, but that he genuinely likes Stolas, and that's scary to him.

In the fourth image, he quickly turns around, slightly hunched over and rubbing his hands together; both behaviors indicating nervousness, probably at his own emotions. He also asks Stolas if he can somehow give them human disguises, which yes, is relevant to what's going on, but it can also be him being like, "maybe I'm just interested in the human disguise," so he can believe that instead of dealing with his own emotions.

Then that scene in Seeing Stars that, when I joined the fandom, was the first thing I saw fans losing their shit over

Nothing much to comment on here. He's actually smiling at Stolas's advances. The other times Stolas flirted with him, it's always been overly aggressive ("jelly sandwiches all night~"), and this time, it's more subtle and intimate, which clearly worked for Blitzø.

Oops (S2, ep6)

In this moment, Fizz hit Blitzø with the allegations, and this was Blitzø's reaction to it. Look at his expressions! The first image looks confused and scared and heart broken, like he knew he fell, but he's either in denial, ignoring it, or doesn't think it's reciprocated; perhaps even all 3.

The second image, he looks sad, angry, and confused, like he doesn't know his emotions and can't name them, but he's hurt. He's frustrated at how complicated things are, and he hates it.

The 3rd image is now just full denial. When lying, people often look to the side or avoid eye contact, which is exactly Blitzø is doing right here. He knows that its more than sex every month, but he's lying to himself, because he can't get hurt if it is just casual.

No but I think we need to talk about this (Poll below)

I’ve been thinking about when Blitz caught feelings for Stolas and just kinda considering the like emotional timeline of this relationship and I came back to this moment and it kinda made me wonder what’s going through Blitz’ mind here. His expression when he first looks back at Stolas is kinda hard to read for me but he seems kinda remorseful and is a little taken aback when Stolas says that Blitz was his first ever friend. Blitz could have easily taken the grimoire and left and at this point he’s not too emotionally attached to Stolas (I think as kids he genuinely considered Stolas a friend but as adults they’re close to strangers just due to time and space and Stolas is way more invested in Blitz at this moment). I think about it and I think there’s multiple reasons that Blitz decided to sleep with Stolas at this point but it’s hard for me to choose the most prominent reason and I want to hear other people’s thoughts on this.

So I’m starting a poll and opening the floor to discussion. Please read all of the poll options before voting. If one reason seems most important/prominent in your mind please pick that one.

In my mind I think it has to do with the first three but what I always come to with it is how much of a bleeding heart Blitz actually is. He has little regard for his own life and body and always wants to help others he thinks deserves a better lot in life. That's why he picked Loona, the hell hound the lady had obviously deemed unsalvageable. That's why he took Moxxie in because he saw this kid going through a rough time, then told him he did a good job instead of bitchier things after their first job together. He runs a business on the basis of helping sinners get revenge, which whether that's as validating to him as the others mentioned or not, the whole premise is helping others.

I think when Stolas says that and Blitz looks back at him like that, Blitz is deciding this is still the nice kid that he met that one time not some rich asshole, and he deserved something nice, something Blitz was comfortable giving.

Oooooooooh that’s so interesting and also probable. I saw a post recently about how Blitz thinks he makes everyone’s lives worse but he actually makes them better in the end (giving Moxxie a job, adopting Loona, engaged with Stolas leading to him standing up to his abusive wife) and yeah, that makes a lot of sense. And I think Blitz’ generosity isn’t noticed or talked about a lot (I kinda forgot about it until you brought it up) but it is an important part of him. Blitz saw that he could give Stolas something so he did (maybe there’s a couple other reasons thrown in there as well but that makes sense).

Like at a first quick glance Blitz doesn’t seem super happy, he seems tired and maybe a little disappointed to be there. But if you turn up the brightness/contrast on his face:

He’s smiling!!! He’s happy! He’s actually happy and pleased to be there! And I think this represents how Blitz doesn’t like to express his real emotions a lot and tries to keep them hidden if they make him feel vulnerable. Either intentionally or unintentionally (on Blitz’ part) this smile is hidden because it shows some vulnerable feelings that he has about Stolas. He wanted to remember this moment but still can fall back on his old habits of suppressing his feelings.
