I just can’t believe marvel made TWO superhero teams with only one girl on them originally and then killed off the girls in the exact same way, each time for the development of a male character!! like, just say you hate women and leave!!!!

THIS IS WHAT I’M SAYING. They shouldn’t have killed Gamora that way in Infinity War and I HOPED they would take the opportunity to fix that in Endgame but NO. THEY DOUBLED DOWN. IT’S THE CLIFF THAT EATS WOMEN. 

also the entire way the soul stone works is bad and it should feel bad and all its creators should feel bad too 

infinity war rewrite. opening scene. instead of monologuing about nonsense for five minutes (boring) and killing heimdall (unnecessary) thanos just grabs loki by the ankles and shakes him upside down until the tesseract falls out his pocket, but then thanos keeps shaking him and more and more entirely identical tesseracts just keep falling out of loki’s pockets and making a pile on the ground and this goes on until the point where it becomes comical

Loki survives by being disguised as one of the tesseract and Thanos has just been shaking his duplicate

Later after Thanos has put the space stone in the infinity gauntlet when he tries to snap it turns into Loki and he’s like “Blargh,” and stabs him

The reason they killed Loki in the first ten minutes is because Loki absolutely would not have hesitated to kill Vision, or steal the time stone.

I just feel the need to point out that that second one is more Thor’s under-appreciated trolling. I know they’ve never ~specifically addressed Allspeak in the MCU, but come ON. They didn’t “teach Groot as an elective.” Thor understands all languages. Because of the Allspeak. He’s just a fucking troll, and that’s hilarious

last night I “accidentally” went off on twitter after I saw a bunch of Peter Quill hate and I’m too lazy to retype all this for here but I want you to see it and how right I am

You know, I admit that I was kinda annoyed at Quill right when I first saw IW. But after having some time to think about it ... and also rewatching Guardians 2, I feel a lot more sympathetic towards him. Because it’s not only that the woman he loves is dead. The exact situation is a HUGE trigger for him. It has not been that long since he found out that his father killed his mother because he “had to.” Because she was the only one standing in the way of his - oh hey - literally universe destroying ambitions. And now Thanos is claiming almost the exact same thing. That a) Gamora is the only person he loved in the entire universe and b) that for that reason she had to die. 

He has spent literal decades unable to let go of his mom’s death, only to find out that the truth is even worse than he thought. That she really didn’t have to die at all. That she was taken from him on purpose by someone who claimed to love her. Like ... I super cannot blame him for losing his shit, given the givens. 

The Sorcerers know something we don’t.
