THAT'S FUCKING MEAN. ok look I'm going to go with.... both.  JK Dammit um lets see. God how do you even compare them.  Okay well in terms of shipping I'd have to go with Wemma.  Because while Mulder and Scully were the pioneers of shipping (literally the x files coined the term shipper) the X-Files was more than Mulder and Scully and their ship, the entire show was amazing and while I rarely tired of the show's concept, shipping wise it was like 9 years of being cockblocked.  In 9 years we never had a real confirmation they were together nor did we ever have any real outward affection.  All of their stuff was subtle looks or the way they passed a manilla folder to one another.  AKA it was ALL BEHIND THE SCENES. And while it was great when the show was on and made you want it... in hindsight it was frustrating and annoying that the writers claimed the show was always all about their relationship yet they never let them happen.  They had a fucking baby and yet kissed maybe twice in a fashion that would suggest they were more than friends.  Then SHE gave said baby up, and only then did the writers allowed them these small dalliances.  Only after part of the ship was gone (Duchovny left the show and decided to become a "movie star") did they allow Scully to tease her feelings (a last ditch attempt to help ratings)through an email which was incredibly out of character where she claimed to remain "forever his" yet a few episodes later gave up "their" son.  And let me tell you there's no shipping when one character is supposedly so in love yet the recipient is doing a minnie driver movie about heart transplants.  It was frustrating to say the least.  Show wise it was brilliant it's first 6/7 seasons... but shipping wise it was about as productive as running through a sprinkler... occasionally you get wet (DIRRRRTY) but most of the time you're just cold and annoyed you dont have a pool.Wemma on the other hand while their screen time dwindles, when they do get featured it's often shipper porn (however out of character it may be) also they move so much faster than the 9 year cocktease above.  While Mulder and Scully's private lives rarely meshed, Wemma's are forefront and voice their feelings in a more outward way...and I'm such a sucker for a white knight story (I know BAD FEMINIST BAD.)  But the whole song and dance really wins me over.and who knows maybe this is just how I'm feeling today and tomorrow it may change but for right now my answer is Wemma.  Sculder/Mully was great (FYI they dont actually have a ship name) but Wemma have been more satisfying in three years than Mulder and Scully were in 15.
