Okay but Momo raised a stag beetle (probably from a larvae).
Which means for 3 years he had the larvae in the piece of wood he had in the container. (the little beetle needs wood, note in the picture it’s on a piece of wood, probably the one it grew up in)
So for three years he waited for his beloved stag beetle to emerge. And then he decided to give it to Kou/Gou as a present.
