I've seen some posts about "Alisha doesn't deserve Simon because he's selfless and she's selfish." Here's the thing, one of the many things I love about them: they make each other better. Alisha starts as a spoiled, insecure girl, but being with Simon grows her up fast, and she becomes a warm, mature woman. In return, Simon's relationship with Alisha brings him out of his shell, gives him the confidence and the courage to become an actual superhero. Reciprocity.
